I believe in keeping things simple. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? But something easy for me doesn’t make it easy for everyone. That’s why I focus on making my students feel as comfortable as possible. We are forming a relationship built by interaction and trust. I want my students to be able to identify goals for themselves and what they would like to accomplish. I will also set goals of my own. A sound golf game starts with the short game. If a student’s main goal is to shoot lower scores, I must instill in them the importance of the short game. Next we will work on fundamentals, as they are the backbone to a proper golf swing. Feedback is a premium; never assume to know what the student is thinking. Most importantly, we will work on a pace comfortable for the student, people learn in different ways and at different paces. I will do all of this to become a better teacher as well as a better individual.

In order to accomplish one’s goals, we will take your tasks and break them down into little, smaller tasks. We will then approach each one of them one at a time. Overloading a student will only frustrate them, and shut down proper feedback. We will focus on always moving forward towards our goals. I judge success on a player’s improvement but more importantly, their attitude towards the game of golf.
As individuals, we are all different. We will work together on your individual golf swing. Everyone is different and everyone has small differences in their swing. I will work with you to improve your swing and to make improvements that fit your game.
